Welcome to Diagnosis and Remediation of Literacy Disorders! 
Over the next 14 weeks the primary purpose of this course is to provide knowledge and understanding of the concepts, methods and materials for teaching and assessing reading and integrated language arts selecting NYS ELA Learning Standards grades 1-6, especially those strategies that are effective for teaching reading and writing in inclusive classes. 

I am Dr. Zahra Saleh-Johnson. I reside in the Tampa Bay area. I have been teaching for over 18 years in urban/suburban and overseas elementary/middle school and post secondary education.

I enjoy traveling around the world and when I can relaxing on the beach. I'm an avid reader of children's literature, mysteries and biographies. I have add a few pictures of my favorite places I have traveled and I'm a super football fan!
